Default 97 Evo Transmission Lube

I just changed to a braided clutch cable and I was going to go ahead and change my tranny fluid. I have a 97 Road King and I was wondering what type of fluid to run in the tranny. From what I could find here on the forum, I think 75W 90 gear oil is the way to go. Does that need to be synthetic, or dino oil? Also, where on the dipstick indicates full, I only have a notch around my dipstick in one place. Above this, below this, or right at this mark? I have done several searches, but cannot find specific info. Thanks in advance for the help.

75w90 or close to it and is GL5...you are good to go. Synthetic or Regular....your choice...I personally don't believe it makes a difference. Just change it like you are suppose to and you're not going to see any problems.

It should be checked on the side stand and it should reach the mark on the dipstick.
