I took my bike to the shop because there was a squeeking noise coming out of the primary. Turns out it was a bad bearing. When the mechanic put the foot shifter back on the bike, he put it too far down so its very uncomfortable to shift. Is there an easy way to adjust this?

Going from memory here, you take a pin out to free the linkage, loosen the jam nut, tighten up the linkage a few turns then tighten up the jam nut and reinstall the pin.

 

take the bolt all the way out of the shift lever pull the lever off and put it back on wherever you want it
