Default Iron 883 Clutch Problem

Recently I have noticed my 2010 Iron 883 is having a problem with its clutch/gears. If i come to a dead stop, on totally flat ground, and pull the clutch all the way you can possibly pull it in, the bike still moves. It only moves 1 or 2 mph ahead, but it is definitely moving. I am getting frustrated because I have been to the local dealership several times in the past week and they keep charging me for service, but haven't fixed anything. Any ideas what the problem could be?

I would hope the dealer actually adjusted the clutch but than again I have been to a lot of dealers and some don't know there *** from a whole in the ground. You may have simply worn out your clutch pack.

Dude sometimes i wonder if they even do the work at the dealership too. I want to install a camera on my bike to see what they do back there (I won't literally, dont worry) because i swear i pay them just to wash my bike and say they serviced it. I went and tightened the clutch myself last night though and it is still doing it. It is getting really frustrating.

As Mark says, if your clutch is adjusted properly and is still "creeping", it is probably worn out. In which case you simply need a new clutch pack.

Yeah, with that mileage, it is possible you've worn it out, not very common, but possible. There's not but so much adjusting you can do without moving on to replacement.
