Default Screamin Eagle clutch spring nut backed off!

I posted this same question in the touring section here:
https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...acked-off.html

but I figured I may get some good info here as well.

I have the Screamin Eagle clutch in my 07 Ultra. I noticed this weekend that it seemed to be slipping in 5th gear. When I got home and allowed the bike to cool, I started to adjust the clutch. When I pulled the derby cover, I noticed that one of the 6 nuts holding the springs to the pressure plate was backed off and only holding on by a single thread. I tightened it back up to the same spec as the other 5 nuts and adjusted the clutch. All is well now, except I'm paranoid that the same thing will happen in the future and I may not get lucky next time and catch it before the nut falls off and all hell breaks loose

Has anyone here had a similar problem?

These 6 nuts seem to be nylock nuts. Why would they back off? Should I replace all of the with new ones? If so, what size are they?

Thanks for all your help

Never had one back off before maybe someone forgot to use some Loctite I would definitely put a little Loctite on it because they don’t torque very tight. I can’t remember right off the top of my head but I think only 75 inch pounds.

To find the meaning of life. It's patience. I don't understand the double nut nut. Why?

If you have a problem with a single nut moving on the threaded stud, using 2 nuts can lock them on the stud.
