Primary Gasket Replacement Pins
A small tip to make life easier
Replacing the primary cover gasket is much easier if you take a couple of bolts longer than the bolts that are used in there and cut off the heads so they extend through the primary cover. You put these in the 10 and 2 oclock positions and it supports the gasket when you install the cover. Start the rest of the bolts leaving these two until last and then remove them and install the stock bolts to replace them. This keeps the gasket in place for you while you install the cover. Don't forget to torque the bolts using the proper sequence so you don't warp the cover.
