If you just losen the Clutch cable do you then have to ajust it?

I was just wanting to loosen my clutch cable with the adjuster on the frame in order to install my chrome housing. You need that free play in order to get the clutch out of the housing. If I do this will I need to do a full clutch adjustment or just tighten the adjuster back up and go?

By the way I have the manual and the directions that came with the clutch chrome housing but nowhere does it answer this question.

You can adjust it by the cable and should be fine.

Thanks...I was hoping I could...didn't want to get into a big job just to put on my chrome housing.

Long as you get your free play back it should be fine

You're only messing with the cable, not the clutch pak itself. No worries.
