Default engine break clicking

ok so i was engine breaking today and i felt in the clutch a clicking and i could hear it a little bit if i gradually let out the clutch to engine break....is this normal....brought it to my mechanic friend who is very wise but sai he did not notice it....I KNOW ITS THERE LOL he thinksi m crazy.....well he tightened the primary and it did the same thing,,,anyone have any ideas? it felt like gear grinding

Could be the clutch release bearing. Mine had some wear that I could feel a little in the clutch lever and I didn't realize how bad it was until I replaced it.

It's in the clutch assembly. If you've ever adjusted the clutch, the threaded shaft you turn is attached to the release bearing. It's not a big deal to change it.

will it **** up anything other than the bearign to ride around with it for a little while

If it is that bearing thats coming apart, the metal particles could cause some other damage. I wouldn't put off the repair any longer than necessary.

ya know id did one more riding test....could it be that if your going to fast for the engine break it could click.....like i was going say under 30 mayb around 25 and i would downshift into second and start engine breaking.....but i noticed that if i do i under 21mph it wont do it
