Inner primary bearing question

You are correct; don't know what I was thinking. I just replaced everything on my '02 FLHT from the quad seal out, so very familiar with inner primary and how it relates to the mainshaft. Brainfart is the only explanation I can offer. I was trying to say that the inner race and bearng were not a "pair" and I didn't see any reason to change the inner race if it had not moved and the sealing surface was intact.

Thanks for pointing it out. I have edited my post accordingly as I wouldn't want anyone to read it and be misinformed.

I still like the OEM parts as replacements rather than the aftermarket, with the exception of the SnS tapered bearing. I have also take to installin one or two (if enough room) snap rings on the mainshaft outside the inner race to keep the race from walking out as it often does.
