Have a 97 ultra 55,000 miles -- While riding, if you do a quick shift, everything seems good. If you do a slow (pull clutch and coast a couple car lengths) then try and up shift, you can't move the shifter between 2-3 you have to rev back up and do a throttle off,clutch in,up shift all at the same time to get it to shift. It will down shift any gear,no problem. also you can shift into neutral over and over, then all of a sudden it won't shift, you have to turn off the engine to get neutral. I have changed trans oil - primary oil - adjusted the shift pawl - adjusted the clutch - all to the manual, with no improvement. Oh, all the old oil came out pretty clean with no chunks or metal flakes. Just got this bike so I can't say how long this has been this way. Don't really know where to start next, as I have not had any trans. issues on any of my bikes before this.
