The only connection between the engine and transmission is your primary chain. Check to see if your starter ring gear is sheared and not just spinning on your clutch hub. check your primary chain for to much slack and the teeth on the clutch basket aren't missing. Check your front engine sprocket/shaft for damage. Find out if the primary chain is spinning off the engine sprocket or the clutch basket.

The engine sproket is good the clutch hub has the 2 magnets missing and the rest came out of the hub while cleaning it.The ring gear was slipping on the hub.Is there any fix for the magnets other than a new hub?
