Default Noise under ultra

I have a noise coming from under my bike. It only happens when I have ridden for a few miles and the bike is hot. If I pull in the clutch and coast it sounds like a loud rubbing and whurring noise. I also feel some vibration when it is real hot and loud. Does not do it when it is cold out or when I first start out in the AM.

Had it to the dealer for 2 1/2 hours one day and 2 hours again today. They say it is normal. They say they can only hear brake pad noise.

Anyone have any ideas. Other than loud pipes, raise the idle up to 5200 and ear plugs.
Thanks

It sounds like your rear wheel pulley. I would tell you how to fix it but to some here it would be construed as advertisement. Hawgley

Drive belt is too tight. I had one with the same issue and the dealer at the first service set the tension to the tight side of spec. Loosened belt to middle of spec and noise was gone. mike

ditto rmc115. I just posted my situation in the softail section. I do my own general maintenance and I overtightned my belt. Had a spooky sounding moan at speed. Backed the belt off a little and the problem went away. There is nothing like experence!

I don't feel the love. Was the second post in this thread invisible?

I agree with the others about the belt too tight.
