Hey I didn't want to start a "slam the guys who are complaining thread". Just trying to find who does not believe there bike has a problem. I believe those guys who are complaining have every right too.

I know some guys have heard this enough,Im one of them, the dealers are too.I get looks like here comes this whack again.I must be able to hear dog whistles.I may never be satisfied with this 07,but am trying until I hit the wall. All the MOCO has do do is tell me this will be cured and I will go away on this.I still have a couple options yet and will try those before selling.

Hey pittguy, I just installed a PCIII yesterday with a map for a stock bike. It runs way better at 2,000+ rpm, I went for a ride and I can still make the sound but only when I was really ******* it on purpose. Other then that no noise's other then a standard 5th gear whine. Give it a try.

I hear ya,these new ones are plugged up and Im sure this would help w/the heat that it creates, but I am staying stock until I get more info.Losing the warranty is an easy win for them.A stock bike is easier to sell also.

I agree on the staying stock for now thing, the PCIII just plugs in and can be unpluged in a matter of a couple minutes. The tech's would never know it had been there.

I just ordered mine for my 07 Heritage. Did you find a reduction in heat when you installed your powercommander?

I agree electaRICK. It is BS that we have to retune our bikes to make it run better. One thing I have noticed is that these new 07's get HOT! Once I have been riding my bike for a while and it is good and warm, If I let it idle standing still for about 30 seconds you can look under the heat shield where the pipes mount to the heads and they are glowing red! That is too hot. I can only imagine how hot it gets on the touring bikes that have fairings and lowers! Alot of people say that the noise they are hearing doesn't start happening until the bike is warmed up. Just makes me wonder if the excessive heat could be the culprit. Just guessing here.
