RE: Where is neutral
ORIGINAL: Grover
I too had trouble finding neutral on my new RK. It keeps on getting easier the more miles I put on it. I have 2500 now and I hit it easily every time.
Keep trying if your clutch is not the problem.

RE: Where is neutral
You know it's funny, but when I first got my Nghttrain, I was having the opposite problem. Nearly everytime I'd shift from first to second I'd miss, and hit neuitral. I've ridden alot of bikes so I really believed the problem wasn't me[8D]. My neighbor across the street's son just graduated from one of the Motorcycle Mechanics institutes, and works at a HD dealer in LA. went over and asked him what he thought, he rode it around the block and said the lever was set a little high, he adjusted it up one click and I never had that problem again. I'd have never thought of something that simple.

RE: Where is neutral
Any of you guys have much riding time on a CZ / Zawa? On that bike it is hard not to hit neutral and I remember my first ride the owner said 'When you shift to second, shift again 'cause you will be in neutral' and he was right. Thinking that was just the bike, years later I was riding a 250 CZ and it was several years newer and the same thing... Also, on all my dad's BMW's neutral was very easy to hit.... I wonder if it is a European thing?
