Default Clutch help!

Ok gang...need some ideas..Had to replace the stator in the old shovel, but now seem to be having a problem getting the clutch adjusted correctly. The stock clutch was replaced with a Rivera Primo Pro clutch about a year ago. Here's the deal...I adjusted the clutch arm to specs - 13/16" gap between the arm and tranny cover. Then adjusted the allen head bolt on the Primo Clutch and backed it off 1/8 turn. The clutch seems to operate fine but after I take it out for a drive (about a couple of miles) the clutch seems to loose adjustment and will not disengage when pulling in the clutch lever. this same scenario has happened several times. Any ideas?

Maybe after a few more rides...you will get all the slack out of wherever it is. Has to be slack or something "getting seated" or working loose.

I am not familiar with the Primo clutch or the method of adjustment, but I have been around long enough to know what you mean by the "arm". I think they changed the lifting mechanism in 86. Some of these folks don't know what you are talking about (LOL).
