RE: twistgear
I'm looking at it also. Did you go with it? To learn more go to www.twistgear.net
I do know a guy that had it installed on his Road King last year and liked it but I don't know how many miles he had put on it.

RE: twistgear
I realize this is old post.I installed the twist gear set-up about four years ago on my `91 Heritage. It`s a great set-up.You bring your 1st -4th gears down a bit and you keep your fifth where it`s at.Therfore by changing your final gearing you in essence keep the first four basically the same and your fifth will be like and OD.You can hear and feel a big difference in the ratio when going from 4th to fifth.Went to a 34 tooth from a 32 and lost basically nothing on the bottom but gained it on top with less rpms. The bearing retainers are top notch as well as the triple lip oil seal.Probably 15,000 miles on the set-up.Way better than spending $3000 on a 6-spd.My second bike will have one on it soon.Any questions, send me a pm.Toby.
