I just did the same thing yesterday. I actually put in more than 32oz and it still wasn't where the book said it should be. I think I'll go drain it and put a quart back in it.

For crying out loud, the correct amount is whatever fills it to the proper level- the bottom of the clutch. Forget about the ounces!!!!

32 gets it to the bottom of the clutch (about where it was before I dumped it the first time.) Clymer says to fill it to the bottom of the clutch SPRING or the bottom of the opening (basically the same thing.) It took 44 ozs to do that.
