Clutch basket
I own an '87 H-D FLXH Sportster. I need to change out the starter. I have everything off that needs to be removed i.e; primary cover ect. I'm down to removing the clutch basket, to get to the hex-bolts that hold the starter to the primary. What do I need to do to remove the clutch basket to get to the hex-bolts holding the starter to the primary? And once I get the thing off and change the starter out, am I going to need to rest the timing as well? (I'm asking these questions because I'm learning how to work on my bike and not have to spend a ton of money on a freakin' mechanic)
