I'm working on a Indian Scout. Rivera belt primary. Trying to remove the primary to replace the rear belt. One of the four shoulder bolts that hold the clutch spring to the hub is spinning and I'm unable to remove it in order to remove the clutch. Evedently what is happening is the stud is turning with the bolt. Any one know how I can remove this shoulder bolt so that I can continue this job........Thx,Rich

 

Can`t you just remove the clutch hub nut and then remove the clutch as an assembly?
Then you could get the clutch on the bench where you could cut off the offending bolt and see what`s happening inside.
