Default clutch or not?

I have a 02 fatboy a buddy did a brake stand and then lost power to rear wheel thought he burnt clutch replaced friction plates but still nothing, bike shifts no problem but no power as if its still slipping, on stand and running clutch engages and tire spins but off with weight nothing any ideas

I am an old-timer....tell me how you are using the term "brake stand".

You will have enough internal drag to make the tire move even with the transmission in neutral if you jack the rear off the ground. Could be he sheared the ring gear bolts, has the clutch put together wrong, or stripped the drive pulley, or main drive gear.
