Acceleration pulls slack out of clutch cable

Acceleration pulls slack out of clutch cable
Cable is adjusted to about 1/8in. slack at lever. Acceleration pulls out the slack, backing down it gives it back. You can feel it in the lever as you operate the throttle. Can't figure out what would cause this. Clutch is adjusted correctly at the adjuster screw with 3/4 turn out from lightly seated. Bike is an 07 Dyna. Anyone care to offer an opinion?

Helical cut gears in the transmission cause the mainshaft to move back and forth a little, causing the clutch actuating mechanism to get tighter or looser (the clutch actuating ramp rides on the end of the mainshaft). Don`t worry about it.
