My comp was checked and all seemed normal,Have read,now take it for what its worth that the rods found were like .008" short.Although not much it would add to a bike with wide squish area.Mike Rowland spoke of this on another form a month or so ago.

 

Been ridin Honda's for years and just bought my 1st H-D , a 07 EGS , somebody please tell me I didn't make a HUGE mistake!!!

 

Yep!!! Unless you have about 2K to spare, you've just bought yourself a genuine LEMON, but
with the help of these folks here on the forum you might get it to run without burning your legs or sounding like a helicopter or an ambulance. I figure 2k is the going price.

 

Might be a good thing I still have the Honda in the basement!!!

I just sold my 1983 Honda Magna, which was purchased new, with the intention of getting an '07 Ultra. There was nothing wrong with the Honda but I was just tired of looking at it after 23 years. Thanks for the heads up everybody, looks like I'll be getting a Honda GoldWing or a BMW K 1200 LT. Bummer, I always wanted a HD.
