Default Transmission clunk

I am new to Harleys, I have just bought a 2003 1200 sportster with 16,000 miles. I have noticed every so often when I am taking off from a stop the transmission will have a clunk or jerk in it after I start moving. I am not for sure if this is a problem to be concerned with or if this is a "normal" thing. What could this be. Any advice will help. Thanks allot.

Default RE: Transmission clunk

welcome to the HD clunk. You can help eliminate it by replacing the factory primary adjustment by replacing it with a Haydem M6 adjuster.
