I bought a chrome inner primary off of ebay and installed it on my 2006 Streetglide with all new gaskets and it leaks. I have taken it apart probably 5 times and put it back together sometimes with gasket sealer and without and it still leaks. I am really looking for help. Does someone have any tips or tricks.

It is leaking from the backside of the primary where it bolts to the trany I think.

When you say gaskets, do you mean all the oil seals as well? Did it come with oil seals pre installed or did you install the oil seals? Was it a HD chrome primary or a stock one that someone had chromed?

 

sounds to me like it's cracked. I'd find someone that can detect hairline cracks like that and have it inspected. Like a dye penetrant or eddy current inspection.
