Can I change the shift return spring without taking transmission box off the bike. If its possible ... any hints?

Yes, but you will need to remove the Inner primary, exhaust, trans cover (Chrome Cover), and shifter drum......

Then you will need to remove the alignment/adjustment pin, shifter arm, press the shift shaft IN TO THE Trans case (Don't drop it).....

Replace the Shift shaft seal (REAL PITA).....

If you want to go for it... Have fun and be careful......
