"Buzz" in first gear

New to Harleys and since I bought my bike new it has a pronounced "buzz" or whine when in 1st gear. Hasn't let up in the first 3K miles. Is this the norm? Kind of obnoxious.

I have the same sound. I don't mind it compared to a few other noises I have. Actually it reminds me that I am in first.
