clutch problem
I have a 1997 Big twin. It is an old police bike (FLH). The clutch is slipping and there is no more adjustment left. ( I tried that). What do I need to buy to fix the clutch, and I understand that I will need a clutch spring retaining tool to remove the clutch. Where is the best place to buy the parts I need? Does anyone have any good advice?

 

When you say there is no more adj., are you talking about at the cable or internally at the clutch pack?

 

Follow the manuals clutch adjustment procedure exactly or you will ruin an otherwise good clutch.

I have never seen a clutch fail, 99% of them are ruined by improper adjustment and or abuse.
