Starting Issues After Ultima Belt Drive Installed
I have had a starting issue ever since I had an Ultima 3.25" belt drive installed. I have a 113" Ultima and Ultima starter. When I tried to start the bike, I just hear a loud winding noise and grinding. So I know the jack shaft is not engaging with the starter gear ring on the belt drive. For me to get it engaged all the way. I will have to hit the starter button a bunch of times. Another way is when I push in the solenoid button, i will roll the bike fwd and rev a little for it to engage. Another thing is, when I loosen the the starter gear cover a little, it starts up just fine.
I ordered a new jack shaft from Jireh, the one that they say goes with the belt drive. It is the same jack shaft that I already have on the starter. The jack shaft has 9 teeth. Has anyone else have had this problem before? Maybe a 10 tooth jack shaft? When I had my primary on, it would start every time, just fine. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

The below link is a short vid of what the issue looks like. I can't try starting the bike, due to the oil tank and battery not being installed. When the shaft is able to engage, it gets stuck. When I manually push it back in. The gear to the jack shaft rotates back.
