Default easy pull clutch adjustment

I just installed the easy pull clutch on my 05 Deluxe and adjusted the clutch but when I put it in gear she goes nowhere. I had three set of instrucktions. Adjustment the easyway,by the book, and i have the manual. What could I have done wrong.

Sounds like you have the cable with to much throw..(when fully released..the plates are still apart)...slacken the cable to zero and start over..sometimes the throwout engagement is hard to feel ..leave the Derby off and manually watch the action after you re-adjust it.

I collapsed the cable and losened the lock not on the clutch spring, then pulled the clutch handle in. Then i screwed the adjuater in until the lever moved away from the handle then backed it out and did this several times. Then locked it down and took out the slack on the cable??[:@]

Thats your Throw-out bearing assembly..it should out just past the main shaft nut..make sure that bearing isnt burnt.
