My Sportster has started slipping in 1st gear. At first it was just when the bike was cold. I thought it might be the clutch so I installed a new Riveria Pro clutch, but it didn't change anything. I also adjusted the primary chain to specs. It's doing it more frenquently now, and it's a slip..catch...slip...catch..causing a lunching effect.I've checked my shift lever to make sure nothing is hitting and it's all good. I think the transmission isn't locking or catching in 1st. Anyone got any ideas or helpfull suggestions?

 

Do you have the correct amount of oil in the primary? If it is overfilled it can do that.
