The Primary Gets absolutely NASTY! I had 3000 miles on the previous oil change and couldn't believe how bad it looked. I guess it makes sense. the clutch friction disks are leaving a ton of crap behind.
I do tons of Dirtbiking and the way to help your clutch live a long life is to change the oil VERY OFTEN!
Well you can bet your *** I'll be changing my Primary every 1500-2000 miles now. Why not? Its the most simple thing to change on your bike and you can do it in the same amount of time it takes to slam back a beer.

 

Sounds wrong to me. I've changed at 2500 once for a reason not related to an oil change and found it to be still very clean. Definately not worth dumping.

Hmmmm? Being that the clutch is on that side it only makes sense it would get dirty very fast. All 3 of my bikes get changed very often and its dirty everytime on all 3.
And No I (we ) don't drag the clutch.

 

I use a 50/50 mix of Redline MTL & MT90 which doesn't seem to get as dirty as the Formula+. I change it at 5000 miles or 1x per year.
