I've tried to adjust my chain a couple times but haven't had much luck. There's about an inch of slack in the top strand but the bottom strand is tight. I can barely pry it up an 1/8" with a screw driver. Will bumping the start button move the slack to the bottom strand? I thought of this today but won't get a chance to try this out till Friday so do you think this will help me out? If not has anyone got any tips on doing this?

why do you want slack in the bottom strand?&nbsp\\; The service manual only addresses the upper strand which should be less than an inch (not looking at the sm right now).&nbsp\\; My bottom strand as taught

Thats weird that you have that much slack up top, something is wrong.&nbsp\\;I dunno
