Posted this on the Dyna forum, but no replies. Trying here. Thanks.

Hello all. Need your help. \\;My inner primary bearing fell apart at less than 5K miles on my 06 FXD35 which is out of warranty. The dealer replaced it with a "High Torque Bearing", P/N 1110-0018.The OEM bearing (at least the inner race) was P/N 34091-06. $300 later.... \\;
H-D Customer Service says they would have 'helped me out" if I had installed an OEM part. Need to find an angle to dispute that. \\;My H-D service advisor said that they would have replaced the bearing with the same P/N (34091-06) that was originally installed. \\;Can any of you confirm that? If so, the basis of my argument will be that I do not want another defective bearing installed and at the least they should reimburse me for the labor (about $260). \\;
