&nbsp\\; From what I found, those numbers are not indicative of engine numbers for any of the 1950's - 2000 year models. Are you sure this is a Harley engine, or are there any more numbers that begin with a number instead of letters?

&nbsp\\; Do a search on Harley engine codes and see what I'm referring to. Most of the time the engine serial number is a shortened version of the main VIN that is on the frame.

&nbsp\\; Alright, I looked a bit harder and found another site that gives more insight to the code you gave. If I read it correctly, it looks like you have a 1987 1340" (EVO) engine. I'm not exactly sure as the whole article is long and detailed, but I'll give you the link and you can see for yourself.
