I am considering changing my trans sprocket from a 32,to a 30,has anyone done this how does it change your rpm on your bike,I know it makes it quicker,but how does it effect the rideability of your bike?

 

it will make your RPM higher at the same speed as you use to have. I just went the other way from 32 to 34T. You can get the answers you ask by going to a web site that has a speed and rpm calculator. I have them in my Fav. but my computer crashed yesterday. I am using my lap top, sorry

 

More torque feel at low end acceleration but higher cruising rpm. Same as going with a higher gear ratio in a car differential. If most of your riding is city you will like it. But on the highway you will lose some top end.

 

You might want to consider changing your primary gearing instead. Much less labor and you won't have to re-calibrate the speedo.
