budget clutch upgrade 06dyna?
Please school me on some options......06 dyna 6speed 7800 miles on bike with 98 kit upgrade from GMR.....jumped on it yesterday with 700+ miles on the build....later the clutch started sliping....I think that there is too much grunt now for the stock clutch but.....don't want to spend too much and over engineer the problem.....$13K bike with $2Kbuild.....don't want to spend 500+ for the Rivera primo pro.....you clutch guys tell me what to do.
Thanks in advace

RE: budget clutch upgrade 06dyna?
Two options, one really inexpensive is to put in the SE clutch spring, but clutch lever effort will increas substantially, so at the same time you should put int the "easy pull" ramps. Second is to go with a VPC from AIM Engineering, it is a variable pressure "lock up" clutch and it will in some cases actually lessen the clutch pull. VPC is an easy do it youself install as is the SE clutch spring and ramps.

Thanks Dalton for the information.....guess I'll either go AIM or bust out the cash and get the Primo pro like you have....GMR tried the SE spring while doing the bigbore but could not get it to work and it is probably for the best as I think the solution is the AIM or Primo. Any idea on the best place to get the AIM price wise?
