Default Primary chain adj. again

I have an '04 Softail standard and want to adjust my primary cahin.
I understand the procedure BUT am not clear as to exactly how you can feel the "tightest" spot on the chain --I know you rotate the rear wheel (in gear) and you should be able to feel the tightest spot--is it easy to feel the tight spot? Do you feel the upper chain? I know that isthe point where you should check the measurement.

Default RE: Primary chain adj. again

As you rotate the wheel (remove the plugs & 5 th gear)) you test the chain to see if it feels like it has more travel up and down in one spot. That's the loose spot on the chain.
