Just curious, are your cables the "snake skins" made by HD? Also, Dennis Kirk has the tubing your looking for.

 

DRAG & CCI has clear tubing, It comes In 16" length's and 25' rolls.
Or you could get A "Sterling Chromite ll" cable, they come with A clear Teflon covering.
I've used them A lot with no proublems.

 

My son gave me liquid tape. He's ET in the navy and home on leave from Japan , good stuff still on some wires on the 2000 road Glide

 

Thanks for all the info! It turns out the local stealer is going to "warranty" it. I use that term loosely since he is going to make up a problem with the cable that won't raise any eyebrows.
