Default Clutch Ring Gear

My stock HD clutch assembly has 4 chipped teeth on the Ring Gear.

Can I replace just the Ring Gear, or do I have to replace the whole Clutch Basket?

The HD Service Manual make no mention of removal or replacement, but a couple of drawing shows a screw or 2 on the backside, as if it were holding the Ring Gear onto the Clutch Basket.
The HD Parts Manual does not show it as a seperate part.

Answer has been found.
The Ring Gear is rivited to the Clutch Basket.
There supposedly are companies that make a "kit" where you drill out the rivits and replace them with low profile bolts, but this does not sound like an option I will consider.

I recently installed the Compu Fire 10/84 ring and jackshaft kit. Wow what a difference. Stock starter turns the motor over with ease. Even sounds better! Highly recommend the change.

Thanks guys for the info.
Since I posted this, I spoke with Pat at Barnett Performance Products, he suggested using their 66T Ring Gear kit.
The only issue is removing the rivits, I guess I'll give it a try, or give to a local machine shop.
The money saved will be nice.

no need for a machine shop, just drill the top of the rivit out and punch them out, them drill the hole out for the new hardware, its all in the directions included with the kit. when your done you will be amazed at how easy it was and why the MOCO changed it to the way it is now

Red Loctite I have, but no drill press though.
Been wanting one, maybe this would be a good excuse to buy a bench top.
