Hi,
I just bought this bike and have had problems since the first day,,such as the primary chain tensioner was flipped upside down ??? so that the teflon piece is not under the bottom half of the chain but is under the top half of the chain...Obviously the chain is stretched,, BUT,,is this a quick fix or dangerous or just plain suicide?? If so can anyone email me a copy of manual page where it says its a quick fix. Thanks to whomever can help

Have you tried putting it in correctly?I don't see how you would get more tension going under the top half of the chain,as the chain would ultimatly be rubbing the primary cover.Chains are cheap and so are shoes.......

 

top side does no good . The top should always be tight . The slack will be in the bottom .
