RE: labor to install IDS
Just call dealer ask for quote on labor, then go in and mention (Elbow Grease) program. Looks like $100.00 off labor.

RE: labor to install IDS
I too purchased the IDS from Zannotti's and had it installed by a local HD shop (not the dealer where I purchased the bike). The head mechanic looked at the parts andgave an estimate of 1 1/2 hours labor. They did not have a shop manual to refer to for charge estimates and he said that this was the first one they installed (this was early November). The bill camein at $ 100.00 for the labor (did not include fitting bearing as this was done by Zannotti). Although I'm probably in the minority on this, I still havesome"clatter" in 5th gear but overall, the noise has been reduced by 80 % and overall drive train functioning seems much smoother. Bottom line; I'd recommend the IDs and the total cost of parts and labor is worth the decrease in noise of that annoying "clatter" (but should have been covered by HD if they had any sense of honesty, decency andconcern for their customers.).

It will take about 1.5 hours. That includes pressing the bearing in.
rear tire is removed, drive sprocket (old) removed, replaced with new drive hub and sprocket. fix to rear wheel place back on bike adjust drive belt, torque axle nut, test ride gooooood to go. Depends on bike mufflers hav to be removed?
MORE THAN WORTH THE MONEY.
