RE: My 2006 HD RK Custom
I am looking for the exact instructions to replace the housing on the throttle side with a chrome one.
the left is simple. The right of course has the brake switch in it and seems to be quite a mess to work with.
Has anyone done this that has instructions???????
Thank you!!!!

I've done it, and it was a piece of cake...
Make sure you put the piece of cardboard over the little switch, and you won't break it...it comes apart like a little puzzle, and it goes back together the same way, only shinier...

And be especially carefull of the brass barrels that are on the end of the cables inside the housing. When they drop out and roll, you never seem to see where they roll to.![Wink](https://www.hdforums.com/forum/images/smilies/wink.gif)
A small piece of carpet or towel on the floor under the housing will save you an hour of searching for it, it doesn't bounce as far.
