Default Stator Rotor cracked

This is the rotor out of my 2016 Breakout. I found this as I was replacing the drive belt.I’m at about a “Stage 7” in mods is the best way I can put it. It’s cracking along the weld. New ones are on back order till November. Don’t know if this was an issue on modded bikes.

Drill both ends of the crack. Use the grinder of your choosing to "v" out the crack from both sides so you get 100 percent penetration. A good welder should have no problem handling it. I'd still order a new one but at least you'll be riding while you wait.

WOW, they are making them better now. I stripped mine at stage factory. That big face groove is where it slipped driving the rotor by the compensator spring. The dealer repaired it twice under warranty but only tighten it. Said the compensator bolt/nut was coming loose. At the third time, it had got so off-center that the chain was nipping the edge of the sprocket. I fixed it still under warranty. They wouldn't even give me the parts and said they were going to cancel the extended warranty for me working on it. I canceled them.

It's a 300041-08A.

Pretty much any later rotor that it setup for SE comp or 12 / later stock rotor will fit. Some of the CVO have a higher output one tho. Maybe you can find one at a salvage yard? You could probably use an 07-11 rotor if the spring pack is cut off.

It's real common for the early TC 99-06 rotors to blow out due to a comp/rotor stackup issue. They'll also blow out on bigger motor but this is the first I've seen of the late stuff.
