Personally, I like stock.. The 02 up to 06, L shape I was not too hot on but on strong 95 I didn't have any issues.. LIke the box type better. Later bikes, stock is the best but some have had issues with the 07 tensioner (later updated). IMO, aftermarket stuff is just bling you can't see..

I had over 100,000 miles on the original Baker adjuster. I replaced shoe with the upgraded version. I just used the shoe though. I didn't like the idea of that little nut possibly coming loose and the original worked fine.

Baker Attitude Adjuster. Installed in 2018, zero issues. I check the chain adjustment every other primary fluid change, unless im in the primary for something else.

How do you check adjustments on a 2018 without removing the outer primary cover?

I check my 15 primary chain by removing the derby cover and using a flashlight and a long little pry bar or screw driver to move the chain up and down. If to much play. off comes the outer cover. No big deal.

Is harley's B update version worth buying? I see they also make a SE version, which is manual and more than the stock auto tensioner.

Just yesterday I noticed white chunks flying around in my primary fluid. About 10k miles ago I changed from stock tensioner to a sohot hydraulic. About 2k miles ago I had a 124 built. I don't ride it hard..but 2 up most days. I'm going to receive the hayden in a few days and we'll see what happens. 2017 eg. I haven't removed the primary cover yet but I have a transparent derby. Also shifting sound/feel has changed.
