Default twin cam in an evo frame?

I have a 90 flhtc Frankenstein. the engine is toast, It has an 05 flht trans it. My question is will a twin cam FLHT engine fit in this frame? I got a line on a 6000 mile engine and it would cost less than a rebuild on the evo.I just need to know if it will fit the hole. TIA for any help

If you have the 05 trans case in it. A TC will bolt in.

But the motor you have a line on will have to be a 99 to 06 bagger or 99 to 05 dyna.

If you only replaced the guts on the tranny and are still using the 90 case I'm not sure but there are aftermarket plates that allow the above TCs to be bolted into early frames. Later TCs require a bunch more work as the primary changed.

Add:
Cool
Jake shows the later kit by vulcan.
