Clutch setup issue
I am looking for help putting my clutch back together. I have a 2003 Softail Deuce that has been significantly modded over time and has a lot of aftermarket parts on it. At the end of the season last year I went to change my oil and found the primary compartment oil turned silver due to metal shavings. Upon further inspection you can see one of the clutch spring nuts and retaining washers backed out off the stud. To repair it i pulled the top plate and all of the clutch plates out, cleaned them, re-lubricated them and re-installed, I also had a new stud and retaining washer made to replace the damaged one. My issue is now that i have torqued the clutch spring bolts down to 90 in-lbs, the clutch lever is so tight that i cannot pull it. Is there something else i should look at before I make adjustments to the clutch cable? Is it possible that since this is an aftermarket clutch and there is no spring plate between the clutch plates and the top plate that they should be torqued to different specs?
Any help would be appreciated.

You got a SE clutch setup. You can't torque all the nuts down as the clutch pressure plate won't be able to move. I attached the instructions for setting it up. You can clean things up and use blue loctite but the studs can unscrew. It's probably worth while to red LT the studs in place.
One thing I've done on the ones I use is to use longer studs and double nut the spring nuts.
