I thought I'd ask this before I started adjusting my clutch.
It says in the book to squeeze handle three times to ensure ***** are seated. What exactly does this mean????
That means that the three ***** that make the clutch pushrod extend by the fact that the ***** are sitting in a ramp of about 18 degreese have to be seated in the deepest part of the ramp in order to get a good adjustment. Very often overlooked when adjusting clutches and will cause you to re adjust more than once if not done.
But if you loosen the clutch cable to the point where the clutch handle is to the bar before adjusting, then adjust the clutch, how can you squeeze the handle to seat the *****, or is it when after adjusting the clucth, the clutch handle comes back away from the bar?
