Using a M8 comp on a TC? Might be possible.

We have updated our compensator within the last 6 months. Our previous model, with it's own merits, suffered from the same issues as everyone else in the market. The previous model is still a good piece, but i would like you to check out our new design:

As far as our customer service goes, I am on here now, so if you have any questions or issues, just reach out to me here or send me an email and will see what I can do.

Actually, I didn’t hear that. Guess I missed those threads. But, I did put one on my ‘12 TriGlide, and put about 30,000 trouble free miles on the Baker Comp. before I sold the trike. Guess I was lucky.

Thank you and also for being a loyal SPONSOR of the Forum. I have never seen anything but Rock Solid things from you and obiviously a lot of research and engineering to get there.

Thanks Ripsaw. We love the Forum guys. And I, myself, have enjoyed getting to know all of you as well.

I'll second that, you want that alignment within .030"

Actually, in my 04, the side play between the chain and sprockets is only .030. You really need it right. Measure off the finished milled face of the primary inner cover outer face.

Even before 04, Harley had gone to standard tolerances to speed assembly. They still showed about 10 part numbers for shims. However, they were obsolete in 04.

Thanks for reiterating what I've already mentioned twice. Don't want someone buying the comp expecting it to fit easily. It will take some spacing as I've mentioned.

Notice that the spokes and ramps are pretty worn on the TC and the spokes on the M8 look pretty good. HD widened the ramps on the cam. The M8 looks really good compared to the TC.

Fyi, the early twin cam rotor 2007-2010 has about .045 thicker spline hub. I have cut off the spring disc cup and cut the spline hub face down for the new style SE comp. Looking at the height difference of the M8 it may be a bolt in if just cutting off spring disc cup.

Good idea. I have an early rotor floating around.
