hey all, i'm having a problem getting into nuetral while bike is running. i've tried following the service manual for clutch adj. , and it shifts fine otherwise than the nuetral issue. there is a little drag when my clutch is dis-engaged(sitting at stop) but maybe more than normal. i am using syn-3 from h-d instead of orig. clutch oil. could that be the prob or am i just not adjusted correctly?

my last post was too my friend who i thought was posting this question who was haveing the same problem it turned out to be to much oil in primary case causeing his clutch to get oil on the disks makeing it impossible to adjust properlie i have a 94 stc my friends is a bored out 78 shovel head he finalie got the mechanic at areo cycle to tweek it for him and was told that shovel heads are not easy to get in nuteral when the motors running we put to much oil in it by using my bike as a example to go by clean the clutch then reset it from the specs in the book hopefuly it will work the same for you
