Question Inner Primary Sealing Fasteners ???

Greetings All,

I have had the infamous primary bearing failure due to the poorly designed chain tensioners on the 88 twin cams. I have the primary apart and just discovered that I will need to replace the 5 sealing fasteners that hold the inner primary case to the motor/transmission. I can only get a par number for the entire seal kit but I have already sourced the gaskets separately. Does anyone know the part number for the individual bolt or where I can get them without ordering the entire kit?

Thanks

And any Harley dealer should have them in stock. I've got them a few times with no problems.

The TC88s don't have any problems with the tensioners killing the inner primary bearing unless adjusted too tight. They occasionally have issues with IPB walk tho.

So that's what you got? That is not the majority of 88s but if you had mentioned what you had, it wouldn't have drawn this comment. I soulda figured.. A little high temp sillycone and you're done..
