Default Clicking from Secondary

When I back my '16 Breakout out of the garage, I'm hearing a clicking noise. It's also there if I push the bike forward. Definitely sounds like it's coming from the secondary clutch area. The bike isn't running when I hear the clicking. When I start the bike, I can't hear the clicking, but this might be because of exhaust noise. Bike seems to run fine, no power loss, no smells, etc. Anyone have an idea what this new sound might be ?

You check your secondary belt and belt guards? Could be the belt guard rubbing on the belt.

Not yet. I'll have a look. Sure sounds like it's inside the secondary though.

I gathered as much but let it go, so we're toy able to check it out? It would be jacked up if a leaf or something similar got caught on the belt guard and winds up blowing away from the belt when you are riding.

So when you push the bike around in neutral, the only things that are moving are the rear wheel / pulley, belt, front pulley, main drive gear, the layshaft and a few gears in the tranny. The sound could be the belt rubbing in something as stated or something loose in the area behind the clutch in the above list. I'd check belt alignment and how well it runs on the front pulley. It could be that a loose front pulley nut, something jammed in the pulley, possibly the belt too tight or a bad main drive gear bearing (inner or outer).
